Nar Mobile offers you a prompt and economically feasible way to use internet while away from your computer through Internet service, available in modern mobile phones.
Connection speed will depend on several factors. Hence, within 3G network (Baku, Sumgait, Absheron, Gobustan, Shirvan, Ganja, Mingachevir, Nakhichevan, Shaki, Tovuz*) depending on network condition, busyness, location (for example – type of building) and level of signal, the speed may reach up to 7.2 Mbps. Because the maximum speed a mobile network base station provides is shared amongst the users in that area, we provide higher speeds so that you'll get a great experience even though the network has many users.
If you move out of 3G coverage, the service will seamlessly switch to GPRS (2G) or EDGE (2.5G) and the voice call or data session will not be interrupted. This will happen even when you are downloading videos and music or browsing the internet, however, speeds will be much slower.
*We are carrying out a mobile broadband rollout program and continuously improving the quality of our coverage. We will add cities to the provider list as our network expands.
Service Activation
The activation of DATA and MMS service is as easy as:
- Internet Guide «Me and Nar Mobile». Connect to the Internet Guide and after, authentication activate service, having passed to following links: Operations> Change Service List;
- Nar Menu Guide, enter into item Nar Mobile in the menu of your mobile phone, then follow the given links: My Nar Mobile> Profile> Add Service> DATA - MMS

Getting DATA settings through “Me and Nar Mobile” Internet Guide
- Logon to Me and Nar Mobile Internet Guide;
- Select Mobile Phone settings section;
- In opened window select Phone manufacturer (for example: Nokia), click Next
- In opened window select Phone model (for example: N70), click next;
- In opened window select Setting type (select NarDATA), click Next;
- In first window type the text displayed on the picture (for example: Fh2), in the second window enter the number where to send settings (in format 070xxxxxxx), click Submit settings;
- If you need to send more settings click Send more.
- Depending on model of your mobile phone, you will receive settings or SMS. Save the settings (or open SMS and save the settings);

When this operation is over, do not forget to turn your phone off and on again. If you ordered DATA settings with no activated DATA service, latest would not work.
All Nar Mobile subscribers having phones that support 3G technology can use 3G service. To do this it would be sufficient to activate DATA service and install DATA, WAP and MMS options into your phone.
